The SmartLink Data Card allows you to store the information directly from the module and bring it to your doctor. No, the Module itself can store up to 3 years of data usage, but it cannot transfer the data unless it is directly hooked into a pc or the SmartLink data card is in the module. The Data Card is there to allow for a quick transfer of information so that it can be read on your PC or by a physician.
