ActiveCell Technology The cushion for the Activa and Mirage SoftGel features ResMed's patented ActiveCell technology. ActiveCell works to accomodate movement while you sleep, which helps to prevent leaks for restless patients. The bubble-like membrane surrounds the dual-wall cushion and expands and contracts to allow for different sleeping positions. The membrane in the new cushion is less cumbersome than the original model and prevents you from needing to overtighten your headgear to create a durable seal. Loose Fitting Cushion The ActiveCell membrane will seal around your face comfortably without necessitating overtightening. This allows you to sleep comfortably by reducing pressure points and eliminating facial blemishes when you wake up.
