Weighing just over 2 pounds (2.25lbs.), this Respironics CPAP battery pack has made traveling with your home unit possible! On initial delivery the battery will need to be charged for up to 3 hours. Featured with two operational modes this battery pack may save your life! The Respironics System One battery can be used in UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) mode. This is great for users who are in areas that experience frequest power outages. UPS mode allows the PAP unit to be connected to the battery while plugged into AC power. This ensures continuous use of power without losing charge and will allow battery to kick in as a back up in case of a power shortage. The second functioning operational power mode is the Stand Alone mode. A direct connection from PAP machine to battery without the use of AC power. This mode when in use will take away from battery charge. Compatibility Not only is this Respironics CPAP battery pack compatible with the Respironics Dreamstation and 60 series CPAP machines, but also it comes with a pair of 50/M series adapters so it is also compatible to 50 series and M series CPAPs. Check Your Charge Upon plugin the LED charge lights; located on the left hand side, will turn on temporarily. Then light up one LED light at a time while charging. To check the charge on battery you must push the designated button.
